Per 100g of raw melon, it contains approximately 34 kcal of energy, 0.6g of protein and 8.1g of carbohydrates, with 0.9g being dietary fiber. It has negligible amounts of fat with 0.2g and contains significant amounts of vitamin A and C, and potassium.
It provides 36% of the daily recommended intake of vitamin C and 50% of vitamin A in a 100g serving. 100g of melon also provides around 170mg of potassium.
